Antique Colt ''New Line'' .41 Caliber Spurtrigger Pocket Revolver, #6916, .41 RF cal., 2.25'' barrel with blade front sight marked with maker's name and address on top, ''Pat. Sept. 15, 1874/6916'' in tiny letters beneath, and ''Colt New 41'' in an etched panel on left side; fluted round 5-shot cylinder; solid frame with integral spurtrigger sheath and ''bird's head'' gripstraps, marked ''41 Cal'' on left side, has knurled cylinder pin that doubles as ejector rod; two-piece varnished rosewood grips. Mfg'd ca. 1877, originally with full nickel-plated finish. Condition is near excellent. Metal surfaces retain approx. 96% bright original nickel. Grips have nice grain and color, light highpoint wear, and 93% original finish; barrel etching and other markings are sharp. Action is smooth; bore is bright with scattered light etching and sharp rifling. Est.: $500-$750. (Antique)
