Antique early 20th Century Hand-carved and Scrimshawed Chinese Tusk or Horn made from Bone Plates. It sits atop a carved and lacquered stand. This sculpture is in the shape of an elephant tusk but is made out of bovine or ox bone. The piece is quite big, it measures 41" Long x 15" Tall x 4.5" Wide (on the stand). The surface bears beautiful hand-carvings of different scenes and Chinese ideograms like Buddha. It is in very good condition. COLLECTIBLE CHINESE ANTIQUE ART
