Antique ''Hard Pan'' Single-Action Spurtrigger Pocket Revolver, #8680, .32 RF cal., 2.75'' round barrel with removable cylinder pin/ejector rod below; round 5-shot cylinder has three knurled rings on circumference and a ''(star)'' at rear face; solid frame is marked ''Hard Pan'' on topstrap, has integral spurtrigger sheath and ''bird's head'' gripstraps, two-piece varnished walnut grips. Mfg'd ca. 1870s-80s in full-nickel-plating with overall simple ''turkey-track'' engraving. Condition is very good retaining approx. 75% bright-to-toned original nickel, with scattered erosion (mainly at frame front, barrel muzzle and ejector rod). Grips are sound showing no original finish and a shallow quarter-inch gouge at right. Markings and engraving are sharp; action functions but does not hold full-cock; bore is clean showing occasional light erosion and apparently was left unrifled. Est.: $150-$300.
