Antique Matched Pair of English Percussion Belt Pistols, cased with accoutrements, NVSN, .54 cal., 8'' octagonal barrels with tiny blade front sights are unmarked; serpentine back-action locks have delicate floral engraving and the name ''Greaves'' behind hammers; steel furniture includes engraved loop trigger guards with pineapple-like front tangs and long rear ones, and two ferrules retaining the brass-tipped hardwood ramrods; varnished one-piece English walnut halfstocks are checkered at bag-style grips, have rectangular German-silver inlays atop wrists, matching oval barrel wedge escutcheons and nosecaps.
