Antique Remington Model 1867 Navy Rolling Block Single-Shot Cartridge Pistol, #3303, .50 CF cal., 7'' round barrel with elevated blade front sight, is marked ''I/J.M.B.C/(inverted anchor)'' at breech; steel frame with integral trigger guard and gripstraps, marked with maker's name, address and 1864-66 patent dates at left side, ''P/F.C.W'' at right, and has the signature hinged breechblock; oil-stained walnut forend and matching grips with script inspector's initials within a rectangular cartouche at bottom left. Mfg'd early 1870s. Condition is very good. Barrel retains traces of original blue in protected areas and is otherwise smooth gunmetal gray; frame and hammer show traces of case colors but have mostly silvered out. Grips are sound and smooth with a semi-legible inspector's mark. Action is strong and smooth; bore is mostly bright with defined rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (Antique)
