Antique Remington-Elliot No. 2 Repeating 4-Barrel Derringer, #13482, .32 RF cal., 3.375'' stationary barrel cluster has revolving internal striker, small blade front and notched (atop recoil shield) rear sights, marked with maker's name and address on left rib and Elliot's 1860-61 patent dates on right; frame has front hinge, ring trigger with integral spur and flared gripstraps; two-piece varnished walnut grips. Mfg'd ca. 1863-88, with blued barrel and nickel-plated frame. Condition is very good with secure hinge, the barrel retaining good traces of finish, the frame having a smooth gunmetal gray tone. Grips are smooth with light highpoint wear and much finish. Action functions well; bores show overall frosting, scattered erosion and good rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (Antique)(John Ackerman collection)
