Antique Rotary Chamber Palm or Pocket Pistol, unmarked but similar to the ''Chicago Protector'' pistol, and perhaps of European mfg., NVSN, 7.65mm or .30 cal., 1-5/8'' two-stage barrel has floral band at mid-point, joins the 2-3/8'' circular body with floral border on one side and knurled pattern on the other, two raised finger grips, and checkered black hard rubber round sideplates with matching checkered black hard rubber grip pad on the hinged squeezer bar. Mfg'd ca. 1890s, originally in full nickel plate. Condition is fine retaining 70% lightly toned nickel, with scattered minor losses mainly in actioning areas and squeezer bar; hard rubber sideplates and grip pad show sharp checkering and no losses. Sharp edges, markings and engraving; action functions as designed; bore shows light erosion toward chamber but is otherwise clean with good rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200.
