*This piece was acquired prior to the Marine Mammal Protection Act. It is Pre-1972.* Authentic Antique SPERM WHALE Tooth. It features a detailed engraving of a sailing ship, harpoons, and an anchor with the inscription "Oh Lord have mercy, thy sea is so large and my ship is so small". It measures 5 7/8" Long (along the outside curve) x 2" Wide x 1.5" Thick (at the base) and Weighs 6 oz. It has an aged patina with a natural hollow cavity. TAXIDERMY
