*This piece was acquired prior to the Marine Mammal Protection Act. It is Pre-1972.* Authentic Antique SPERM WHALE Tooth with Scrimshaw of a Whaling Ship. It is polished on the scrimshawed side and you can feel the striations on the back. It measures 5.75" (around the outside curve) x 2.25" Wide x 3/4" Thick (at the base) and it Weighs 13 oz. It has lovely detail and patina, the inside of the tooth has been smoothed along the natural cavity. TAXIDERMY
