Antique Smith & Wesson Model No. 1-1/2 Second Issue Spurtrigger Revolver, #85262, .32 LRF cal., 3.5" round barrel marked with maker's name, address and 1855-59-65 patent dates on full-length top rib, has fixed ejector rod at front, bottom release latch; fluted 5-shot round cylinder; frame with top barrel hinge, removable left sideplate, integral spurtrigger sheath and "bird's head" gripstraps, 2-pc. varnished rosewood grips. Mfg'd ca. 1868-75. Condition is near fine retaining approx. 15% barrel blue, traces in cylinder flutes, 60% frame blue, sharp edges and markings. Grips retain most original finish with light wear. Barrel hinge is slightly loose, but secure. Action is crisp, bore shows overall light erosion and good rifling. Est.: $250-$400. (Antique)
