Ken Robins has donated a 7-day archery elk hunt in the Kootenay Region of British Columbia with one of BC’s most experienced outfitters. Accommodations on Whatshan Lake include a cozy, heated cabin with home-cooked meals. The hunt will take place September 1–7, 2026, offering the opportunity to harvest an elk scoring 300–370” P&Y. This guided hunt combines glassing and spotting from roads via pickup or ATV with approximately 50% of the hunt on foot, including some challenging hikes in high-country terrain; good physical condition is recommended. Due to Whatshan’s reputation and success rates, their guided elk hunts typically book well in advance, with only five elk hunters per season. The package includes pickup and drop-off at Kelowna, BC airport, and comes highly recommended for SCI members.
