Greater Kudu! Balla Balla Safaris has graciously donated a Greater Kudu Hunt for 2 hunters and 2 non-hunters for 7-days in the Limpopo Province, South Africa. Method of take can be rifle, bow, cross-bow, or black powder. This hunt includes a Professional hunter, meet and greet, transport to and from Polokwane Airport, accommodation at Balla Balla Conservancy Lodge, meals, soft drinks, local beers and wine, laundry service, camp staff, trackers, skinners, field preparation of trophies, delivery of trophies to local taxidermy and safari vehicle. Balla-Balla Conservancy, a private wildlife reserve in South Africa which offers excellent plains game hunting, is nestled in the heart of the Soutpansberg Mountain range. The conservancy comprises over 25,000 acres of majestic mountain ranges with spectacular views which produces big Greater Kudu each year. Developed over 25 years ago, this area now boasts over 450 head of Greater Kudu and other species All safaris are ethical "fair chase" hunts with only natural occurring animals in the area. Excluded from this hunt is the rifle import permit, visa on entry, trophy fees of animals hunted, wounded or lost, liquor, accommodation before and after the hunt if needed, airfares, dip, pack and shipping of trophies and staff tips. This hunt can be upgraded to include any plains game as per price list; additional hunters for $250/day, and additional non-hunters for $100/day. Our mission: Preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage.
Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists.
How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $3.7 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts.

Houston Safari Club (HSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to legislative and policy initiatives that may affect the future of hunting. HSC supports initiatives that protect the tradition of hunting and hunters’ rights. We take an active role in efforts to effect policy, protocols and legislation. HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad.
Live Auction Rules
§ When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters.
§ The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
§ Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
§ Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
§ Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2019 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire January 31, 2020. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
§ Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
§ It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
