Grace Elk Outfitters have generously donated one Kentucky Black Bear Hunt for one hunter. The winning bidder must bring a paying hunter with him for the 2-day hunt which includes daily fees ($600) and trophy fee ($800). Grace Elk Outfitters offer elk and bear hunts in Eastern Kentucky from their camp in Harlan County. Hunters stay in one of a half dozen well-constructed, comfortable cabins with hot and cold running water, bunk beds for up to four hunters, showers, and flushing toilets. Hunters supply their own towels, sleeping bags, and pillows. All meals are provided by Grace Elk Outfitters.
Kentucky has archery and rifle bear seasons; however, this hunt is for the rifle season only. The season details for 2020 have not yet been announced but, by regulation, the archery season runs generally from the fourth Saturday in October for seven days or until the maximum number of bears designated by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources have been harvested. The rifle season runs from the third Saturday in December for seven days or until the maximum number of bears have been harvested. Additional hunts may be added for a daily rate of $300 plus trophy fee of $800. Minimum 2-day hunt.
