BELIZE – 6 DAY FISHING/DIVING/SWIMMING VACATION FOR 2 PEOPLE
Welcome to an adventure of a lifetime. Your journey begins with your arrival on Sunday in Placencia, Belize in Central America. That day is for you to explore the town, with dinner on your own, but that night's lodging is provided in one of the quaint local inns. Monday morning you’re off to your own remote island 25 miles off shore on the edge of the continental shelf. You will fish your way to the island catching the day's dinner in route. For the next 4 nights, your home will be one of 3 beautiful stone bungalows on a one-acre pristine island with palm trees and hammocks and the best diving and fishing to be found anywhere. Because of the remote nature of the location, the area is practically untouched, and the island waters are teeming with giant coral reefs and fish just feet from the shore. You may choose to fish every day or dive every day or a combination of both each day. All of them are included in addition to the amazing snorkeling right next to your bungalow. With only 3 bungalows, there are no worries about crowds, as the island guest capacity is only 8 persons. The food here is second to none with fresh seafood (that you catch) prepared for you. You can free-dive for lobsters in the summer (season opens the middle of June), spearfish for lion fish, and catch by baited-hook-and-line the various fish that are always present such as barracuda, snappers, groupers, tuna, marlin, swordfish and bonefish. Learn to scuba dive with the certified dive masters or just snorkel in crystal clear shallows. This island trip comes to an end on Friday with your trip back across 25 miles of calm gulf waters to Placencia. Included in this package to be taken November to July in 2019 or 2020 are: 5 days and 4 nights on the island; 1 day and 1 night in Placencia; airport pickup and return; lodging; food; local beers, rum, water and soft drinks on the island; guides, boats and fishing tackle; scuba diving equipment and air tanks; snorkeling equipment; and instruction by dive masters. Extra persons are welcome at $2,997.50 for two or $6,000 for 4 people. Not included are: roundtrip airfare to Placencia, meals in Placencia the first day, and gratuities to guides and staff.
