PISTOL. Cal. 9mm Bergman / Bayard. S# 8715. Bbl. 4" w/ solid rib having inverted V blade sight; fixed rear. Danish government contract pistol; 4,840 units 1911-1914. Danish proof on left rear of receiver & inventory # 1770 on right rear. Slide marked "M.1910/21". Trolite black border checkered grips w/ 715 on backs. Original conversions have Trolite grips; later wood. In the white controls & bolt assembly plus lanyard loop at butt. MAGS: 1 good to very good 6 rd. numbered 1579 w/ no finish on spine; concentric circles at bottom of sides plus stamped metal base plate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair to good brown flap holster w/ "1AA 2Btr" stamped on underside of flap. Buckle & strap retention plus 3 pouches on front of holster under flap w/ top having snap retention. Sharply angled double belt loops plus shoulder harness assembly w/ 1 tab separated from holster & excess portion of strap through buckle cut almost square. Protected metal tip at muzzle portion. Numerous light scuffs & aged appearance throughout. Missing cleaning rod but holders present. CONDITION: very good plus overall appearance w/ very clear markings & proofs. Hand wear to grips & noticeable protrusion of grip screw through left grip yet no damage. Very good to excellent bright bore. (22-349/NW). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
