INSURANCE AND MEDICAL EXPENSES
Logistics: Hunters would fly into Santa Rosa , La Pampa Airport (RSA) a day before the experience starts (1 hour flight from Buenos Aires International Airport).
At Santa Rosa Airport our staff will be waiting to drive the group to the lodge. Once at the lodge, the group will rest until next morning where the breakfast will be served and the experience starts.
Hunting and Lodging: Hunting method is usually spot and stalk, 2x1 guide, hunting hours are daylight.
At the lunch time, after a morning spotting and stalking animals, our international chefs and ladies staff will be waiting with snacks, national and game dishes and local world class wines.
After lunch, hunters can take a nap to be ready for the afternoon hunt until twilight. Then, dinner will be waiting, surrounded by drinks, conversations and laughs by the side of our huge fire pit.
The lodge: Our lodge is the perfect combination between luxury and wildness. Located in the heart of La Pampa state, Catena’s ranch is the perfect place to live this unique experience . Double based rooms with private bathrooms, warm water, electricity, Wifi (internet), laundry service and high quality wine and food is what you’ll expect.

A minimum deposit of U$ 500 Per Guest is required to confirm Dates. This deposit will be credit toward extra trophies
Extra Trophies Not included in the Donation:
Important NOTE: The donation is only valid for 3 hunters.
A 50 % Deposit towards the extra trophy fees outside the donation is required. Amount due has to be cancelled 45 days prior the trip. Balance due must be paid 60 days before arrival.

COMPANY POLICY
Daily rates includes:
Transportation from and to Santa Rosa Airport, world class cuisine, game meals, drinks, wines, beverages, staying in double based rooms. Laundry and free WiFI.
Field preparation and transportation of the trophies to the broker in Buenos Aires.
Non included:
International and domestic airfares, Ground transfers in Buenos Aires $120 round trip, Hunting license (USD 250), trophy government tags for exportation (USD 120), gun rental at the lodge (USD 300 total per hunter, ammunition included), trophies exportation cost and Tips. Recommended tips: USD 50 a day guide and USD 150/guest for the lodge staff. Single based room request $100/night. Capping USD 60, Full body USD100
BOOKING POLICY: Terms of payment and cancellation policy: A 50% deposit of the trophy fees is required to book the hunt. Balance should be paid 60 days before the hunt. This deposit is non refundable and the following cancellation fees apply:
- 90 days prior to the hunt: can be transferred for other available date or following season (new fees will apply). - 60 days prior to the hunt: can be transferred for other available date or following season (new fees will apply), 50% of the deposit is lost.
- 30 days prior to the hunt: can be transferred for other available date or following season (new fees will apply), 100% of the deposit is lost.
Extras such as additional animals taken during the hunt, hunting license and trophy tags for the animals taken can be paid in U.S. dollars cash or wire transfer before the hunter leaves the ranch.
Catena Safaris Argentina reserves the right to make changes to this document as needed. Hunting license cost and trophy export tags may vary without previous notice because that depends on the national authorities. Please check with us before your trip to make sure you have a valid form of payment. We strongly recommend taking out the necessary trip cancellation insurance for your hunt. All the prices are fixed in United States Dollars
Payments and Deposits: Most of the payments are performed by wire transfer in American Dollars Currency. Credit Card: CC may be used and will have an over charge around 6 % + $ 40 fix fee (This percentage will depends on the CC market transaction Fees.)
Checks: Checks are not allowed.
Donated Trophies: Trophy Fees included in any donation, free voucher or draw hunt can not be credit towards extra trophies or to trophy upgrade scores, and will not be refund in case the hunter don’t take the trophy. Unless Catena Safaris Team decide to do an exception in a specific case or situation.
Major Force , Natural Disaster, Fraud refund Policy:
In cases of proved major force of any kind, when the hunters can’t travel to Argentina, or if the hunting season in Argentina is closed or cancel by major force causes, deposits will be credit towards the following season or following dates, but will not be refund.
CSA do not take any responsibility, and will not recognize any payments if the client suffer any type of fraud, so please take special care of wire instructions and always confirm with the outfitter if a wire information or wire instruction are changed at the booking process.
Liability , Injures and Accidents: By booking a hunt with us, you understand that you will be performing a sport that involves weapons, wild game at fair chase and this activity involves certain risks to your physical integrity. Our staff are all licensed guides and takes all the security measures at all times.
Catena Safaris Argentina will not be take any liability for injure, accident or death occur in the hunting area, lodge. CSA has contracted the proper insurance that the Argentina Game office and local authorities set for this type of activity.
Note: If you shot any game already wounded by natural causes, trophy must be paid in full. ]
