Loyal donor, Dan Kirschner of Wild Spirit Guide Service, is donating a Black Bear hunt in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter. The winning bidder will have a choice of either a 10-day baited hunt or a 5-day hound hunt. Base camp will be in Powers, Michigan, where the hunter will stay in a comfortable cabin and have the opportunity to harvest a trophy black bear. Dan’s success rate is over 90%, with many bears having skulls measuring over 18 inches each year. The hunter must draw a bear license (application deadline is May 30.) The hunt must be taken in September, 2017 or 2018. This is a very exciting and challenging hunt.
