Cal. 12 Ga. 2 5/8". S# 2655. The 27 5/8" bbls. with slightly raised matted rib are engraved with maker's name and address on tops. Bbl. flats are stamped with Imperial German black powder proofs. Blued boxlock action features automatic safety, cross bolt third fastener, cocking indicators, intercepting safety sears, and double triggers. Action is line border engraved and maker's name and address are on each side. Trigger guard is steel. Plain European walnut round knob pistol grip buttstock measures 14 3/8" over black "Decelerator" trap pad on 1/2" hard rubber extension. Point pattern checkering is at grip. A sling eye is on toe line and a sling loop is soldered to bottom rib of bbl. Matching splinter forend with inlet horn tip has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS.: Bore Diameter: R: .716", L: .716". Restrictions: R: .030" (FULL), L: .035" (FULL). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .032", L: .034". STOCK: DAH: 2 3/16". DAC: 1 5/8+". CAST: approx. 1/4" off. LOP: 14 3/8". WEIGHT: 6 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: good as refinished. Bbl. and action retain most of a reblue. Stock has old oil refinish over considerable wear. Checkering is almost smooth at grip; areas are worn off at forend. Bores are good with some shine and scattered pitting. There is a sharp dent in left bbl. 8 1/2" from breech end and 3 other small dents in right bbl. 5" behind muzzle. Action is tight with forend attached. Bbls. are slightly off face. Mechanically good. There is a 1 1/2" crack on left side of grip from rear of top tang toward rear trigger. (does not flex.)
