NO. 2 ARMY REVOLVER. Cal 32, S# 4324. Appears to be standard configuration early 3-pin revolver but lacking right recoil shield with groove cut for loading. Back of frame where hammer strikes has an inset small circular inset plate fitted. There is no assembly mark on cylinder. Interesting well done alteration. CONDITION: fine overall, revolver retains 80-90% factory blue other than cylinder which is mottled gray patina. Mechanically fine, crisp rifled bore. PROVENANCE: from the Lifelong Collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (01-24968/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
