UNISSUED CONDITION. Cal. 303 Brit. S# PF331883. Bbl. 25". Import marked on right side of muzzle. Rifle manufactured at Royal Ordnance Factory, Fazakerley between 1948-1957. This attractive rifle w/ matching hardwood stock set & black finish has MK2 trigger pinned to receiver. Adj. rear sight & brass trap buttplate. Rifle is marked on left receiver wall in electro pencil "No. 4" "MK2" "(F)" which indicates manufacturer in Fazakerley. Dated 11/54. S# has "PF" prefix. Milled adj. rear sight graduated to 1,300 yards marked "F". Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Hardwood stock set. Buttstock is marked at heel w/ "L". MAGS: 1 matching 10 rd. detachable. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 8" fullered blade knife bayonet for the No. 4 Lee Enfield rifle. Bayonet is marked on left side "NO 9" "MK1-54" & "broad arrow". Bayonet has steel scabbard & green web frog. Bayonet & scabbard in very good original condition w/ scattered light handling marks. Reproduction khaki carrying case w/ shoulder strap. Brass fittings on shoulder strap marked "M.E. CO." "1913". Case is in very good condition. CONDITION: wood & metal retain very lg. degree of original factory finish w/ very light high point wear & scattered tiny handling marks. Near excellent shiny bore.
