ACTION SHOTGUN.
Cal. 410 Ga. S# 10382. Bbl. 25 1/2" rechambered for modern shotgun ammo rather than 410 based on brass 303 case. Mfg. 1913 by BSA & later converted to single shot for riot control in Ishapore. MAGS: NONE; filler block retained by 2 wood pins plus metal loading platform. Matching numbered bolt, nose cap w/ stacking swivel, forend (extremely faint) & rear sight (prior number crossed out); buttstock w/ white "47" on left side plus unreadable marks on right. Brass buttplate & portion of military sling retained by rawhide knot. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: near excellent tan colored canvas carry bag having unused appearance. CONDITION: good overall appearance w/ normal reinforcement screw in sock just forward of receiver. Buttstock repair at heel & toe plus walnut disk in place of brass disk. Hand wear & faint marks on stock set. Good metal finish w/ typical high point wear. Near excellent bore. PROVENANCE: from the estate collections of Charles P. Obremski. (22-1372/NW). CURIO. $250-400.
