Buckbrush Outfitters has generously donated a combination white-tailed deer & mule deer archery hunt in Alberta, Canada.
Buckbrush Outfitters is owned and operated by Rod and Logan Hunter. Rod Hunter was recognized as the 2023 HSCF Outfitter of the Year and Buckbrush Outfitters has been an HSCF exhibitor since 1984.
This hunt is for one (1) hunter and method of take is archery only. Crossbows are allowed with a physician’s letter confirming disability.
The hunt will take place in East Central Alberta, primarily on private farm and ranch land. Hunts will be conducted from tree stands, ground blinds, tower blinds or spot and stalk. Trophy size will be the hunter's choice.
Buckbrush Outfitters' long-standing whitetail and mule deer area is known worldwide for having some of the largest deer in North America.
These hunts take place in the battle river area of East-Central Alberta. Observers may be added for $150/day.
This hunt will take place over 7 days and 6 nights between October 10-31, 2024. Extra days are available at $500/day.
Included are lodging, meals, beverages, airport reception, transportation to/from the lodge, transportation during the hunt, trophy preparation and transportation to the shipper.
Arrival/departure will be Edmonton Airport (YEG). Arrivals after 3:00 p.m. and departures before noon from Edmonton will require an overnight hotel near Edmonton airport.
Not included is air fare, any additional lodging, federal firearms, licenses, tags and associated fees (contact outfitter for details).

Our mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. AUCTION RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules apply to all bidders participating in online bidding and must be followed unequivocally. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and HSCF staff will render decisions on any disputes regarding the bids during the auction.
HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
Most hunt donations have specified dates for which they may be taken. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction descriptions are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each winning bid. At the conclusion of the auction, the winner will receive an email acknowledgment and a paid invoice once payment has been processed.
In the event the winner's card is declined, HSCF will make one (1) attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, HSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, may offer the item for resale.
HSCF online auction winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
Online bidders agree to not interfere or disrupt the standard working function of any aspect of the online auction, via any device, software or other means.
If an active bidder is not satisfied with an aspect of the online auction, the bidder's only recourse is to discontinue use of the online auction system prior to the conclusion of bidding or the purchase of an item.
HSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction and/or to void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and offer any goods affected by any malfunction for resale.
All disputes regarding HSCF auction items purchased during this auction shall be submitted in writing to HSCF. All disputes and/or requests for refunds must detail and demonstrate proof of dispute. HSCF, at its sole discretion, may or may not approve a requested refund, based on the evidence and information provided. Credits or refunds will not be given, for any reason that is beyond the control of HSCF, if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item with the time frame described in the auction description. Credits will not be provided by HSCF for any item for which the donor and buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction description as provided during this auction.
For any approved credits or refunds, which will be made at the sole discretion of HSCF and are final, the credit or refund will not exceed the amount allocated to HSCF for the specific item, in the case of items for proceeds are to be shared with any third party.
