PISTOL WITH HOLSTER & MATCHING IMPORTER BOX. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 005365. Bbl. 4 15/16". P1 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Walther in October of 1981 for the Bundeswehr. Left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo, followed by "P1 Kal 9mm" above a "10/81" date code, with a boxed Bundeswehr eagle proof marked on the right (additional boxed eagle proofs present on right side of frame and front of bbl.). Left side of the frame is marked with the S#, followed by "W10.90" (indicating rework at St. Wendel in October of 1990), followed by a Bundeswehr "Bw" proof. Underside of bbl. exhibits an Inter Ordnance import mark. Alloy frame exhibits a black anodized finish, with remaining steel parts exhibiting a phosphate finish. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered black synthetic grips. Standard dovetailed white dot blade front sight and square notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching, to include the frame, slide, and bbl. Locking block matches via an electro-penciled "365" on the upper flat. MAGS: x2 phosphate 8-rd (x1 marked "P1", x1 marked "P38"). UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching importer box containing importer manual, St. Wendel paper test target, as well as a West German black leather holster. CONDITION: near excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their arsenal finishes, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks overall. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics, to include the safety / decocking lever. Grips show some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. Holster shows mild general overall wear, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (26-2714/MLW). MODERN. $500-750.
