The rear sight is an adjustable folding u-notch dovetailed into the barrel. There are a pair of filled taps in the barrel just forward of the receiver. No optic is included. grip/stock configuration & condition: the furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, checkered semi-pistol grip, checkered forend, and a serrated metal buttplate. The buttplate shows no notable wear. The furniture shows a couple minor pressure dings and a few minor cracks in the finish itself. The lop measures 13. 75" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in fine condition. type of finish: blued & french greyfinish originality: originalbore condition: the bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, the bore rates 10/10. overall condition: this rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The finish shows some scratches through the receivers clear coat that have oxidized. There is also some freckling on the bolt. The screw heads show little to no tooling and retain turnable slots.
