These Bighorn Sheep (Ovis Canadensis) horns have been recorded, registered, and pinned with numbered WDFW plugs, and we have been given a permit by the State of Washington for a one-time sale. Ownership of these horns is subject to several restrictions under Washington State Law and WAC codes. They cannot legally be resold and the WDFW letter to the buyer will indicate this. The buyer cannot legally transfer ownership or possession of the horns (e.g., to a family member), without contacting WDFW in writing to update the pinning database and owner information within thirty days of the transfer. It is also illegal to remove the registration plugs from the horns. The buyers information will be provided to WDFW for their records, and the buyer will be provided with a temporary permit, to be followed with a permanent letter/permit from Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife shortly afterward. The majority of revenue from this sale will be returned to WDFW to be used in their bighorn sheep management and conservation program. This is a great opportunity to own and enjoy a beautiful set of mature Bighorn ram horns with skull. Again, the horns cannot be resold. The buyer will be responsible for paying actual shipping and insurance costs.
