Paul and Dianne Gray of Nepisiquit River Camps in New Brunswick have donated a 5 day black bear for 1 hunter. This hunt can be taken in the spring or fall of either 2016 or 2017. The hunt includes lodging, trophy preparation and is semi-guided. Nepisiquit River Camps is a bow hunt outfitter but will accept rifle or muzzleloader hunters upon request. Food, license and gratuities are not included and are the responsibility of the buyer. Nepisiquit River Camps Lodge is located on the Nepisiquit River and is equipped with a fully ready kitchen, big screen tv, screened porch and gas grill. Bring your own food and do your own cooking or eat at one of the many restaurants in town 10 minutes away. Hunts are conducted from 2 till 10 PM Monday thru Friday. Don’t forget to bring a Thermacell….they are a must. Drive to camp or fly to Bathurst, NB and rent a car. Additional hunters are $1,250.00 per hunter and 6 to 9 hunters per week can be accommodated. This is a 100% donation to HDF from Nepisiquit River Camps.
This hunt comes to us thru Bill Pascale, Delaware Valley Chapter SCI President. Bill has taken clients to Nepisiquit River for the past 8 years and they harvested their 100th bear last spring. The biggest spring bears were 388 and 412 pounds the average bear is from 180/200 pounds.
