Brass Grip Frame Ruger Old Army Percussion Single Action Revolver, #140-07099, .45 cal., 7.5'' barrel, blue finish, brass Dragoon style grip frame that is marked underneath right grip ''MR-3DB'', smooth wood grips with Ruger medallions, wide serrated trigger, fixed large blade front sight, with a fully adjustable rear sight. In an original two-piece red/black/white box that appears to be numbered to the gun, two of the numbers are not legible. Also included is the original owner's manual, and warranty card. Mfg'd 1973. Approx. 97%-98% original finish remains and this revolver rates as fine overall. Frame with slight plum colored toning. Cylinder and barrel with a few tiny specks of oxidation; cylinder with only a light index line. Brass shows normal mild toning. Grips with a few shallow handling marks. Factory lettering is clear and well defined. Both sides of hammer with a few specks of dark spotting/surface rust. Action is smooth with a bright bore; rifling is excellent. Box shows general age and storage wear, end label is clear, and all of the corners are intact. Est.: $700-$900. (Modern/PPT) (This revolver is not classified as an antique and does require an FFL.)
