Brazilian Contract DWM Model 1906 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol with Holster, #3161, .30 Luger cal., 4.75" barrel, rust blue finish, straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, saw tooth shaped blade front sight, fixed rear sight with "V"-notched groove, grip safety, with one unmarked nickel plated magazine. Pistol is marked "DWM" on the toggle link, chamber is blank. Left side of the receiver with small "B" within a circle military proof mark. Numbered in commercial style and all visible numbers are matching, including the back of each grip; thumb and grip safety are not numbered. Extractor is marked "CARREGADA". Includes an unmarked black leather flap holster with shoulder strap, combination cleaning rod/oiler, and takedown tool. Pistol is in good overall condition, retaining approx. 70% thinning blue, displaying a mottled blue with golden hues to the much of the frame, and there is mild pitting scattered throughout. Likely arsenal refurbished as the thumb safety is now blued and the lower safety position is no longer polished bright; balance of the straw colored parts retain approx. 50% finish. Grips show general handling wear and areas of flattening to the checkering, but there are no chips or cracks. Action and hold open function properly. Bore is lightly frosted and rates good overall, with well-defined rifling. Magazine body shows normal yellowish toning and a few minor marks on the base. Holster has had leather conditioned applied and remains soft, stitching is good, but the leather surface shows considerable age; replacement strap is in much better condition. Est.: $1,800-$2,400.
