The Jurassic Classic is an annual, world-class, Sturgeon fishing tournament on the majestic Fraser River in beautiful Chilliwack, British Columbia! This event is scheduled for August 16- 18, 2019 and cannot be deferred. Thirty professionally guided teams consisting of two anglers each will participate. Purchaser of this item and a fishing partner will enjoy two full days of fun-filled fishing adventure (two teams per boat) and will be treated to first class hospitality! This all-inclusive experience includes: two full days of professionally guided, Sturgeon fishing with Great River Fishing Adventures aboard a river jet boat; three nights of accommodations in Chilliwack, British Columbia at the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn; all meals; fishing equipment; and, local transportation to and from all event functions including an evening of socializing the night before the tournament begins, a BBQ on the shores of the Fraser River Saturday evening and, an awards banquet with prizes for the winners after the tournament on Sunday evening. Fishermen are responsible for transportation to and from Chilliwack, British Columbia (fly to Vancouver), a fishing license; alcoholic beverages, and tips. This trip may be upgraded to include an additional day of Sturgeon fishing before or after the tournament ($400 per person based on four fishermen per boat – paired with other tournament fishermen/women who choose to add the additional day. $550 per person for a private day of fishing with just a team of two fishermen/women.) A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the BC Wildlife Federation and the Wild Sheep Society of BC to support a variety of wild sheep projects in British Columbia.
