Hunt Northwest British Columbia Mt. Goat with Golden Bear Outfitting! Golden Bear hunts the Telegraph Creek – Stikine River area of British Columbia. This guide area is a vast territory encompassing over 8,000 square miles – a large percentage of which has been untouched for almost forty years and parts of the guide area have never experienced the presence of a human being! This guide area is the oldest established guide area in northern British Columbia and has long been a favorite hunting area for sportsmen. This one-on-one, guided hunt is scheduled for (August 23 – 31, 2015 but may be deferred until the 2016 or 2017 season. This hunt may be upgraded to include additional species (standard rates apply); additional hunters ($8,850) and/or non-hunters ($250 per day/per person); additional days ($500 per day); and/or a personal packer ($200 per day). Hunter is responsible for the following costs: non-resident hunting license ($200); Mt. Goat tag ($380); round-trip air charter from Juneau, Alaska to camp ($1,500); Non-resident Hunt Preservation Fee ($200); taxes; government royalty fee ($150) and tips. There is an additional $25 permit fee to be paid to the air service in Juneau. Accommodations during this hunt will be a cabin or a tent depending on the specific hunt area. Hunter should anticipate one night in Juneau both before and after the hunt (approximately $200 per night). Hunter may choose his/her weapon – rifle, bow or muzzleloader - no handguns.
