British Mark VI Webley Service Double Action Revolver, #420986, .45 ACP cal., 6'' barrel, blued finish, vulcanite grips, blade front sight with notched rear sight. Marked on left side of frame ''WEBLEY PATENTS MARK VI 1918'' and on left side barrel extension ''MARK VI/18'', along with proof and inspection marks. Serial numbers match on barrel and frame. ''SAS 32'' has been stamped into the rear of grip frame. Reblued cylinder has been converted to .45 ACP by ''shaving'' and has a mismatched serial number on the side. Condition overall is very good with metal surfaces retaining over 90% finish, with small spots of rust on the cylinder and barrel. Left grip panel is cracked near the lanyard ring and has turned to a mottled brown color, with the right grip slightly darker; both show wear and light scratches. Bore shows light patina and discoloration near the muzzle, otherwise bright with very good rifling. Action, extractor spring and ejector lock up tightly and operate smoothly. Est.: $500-$800. (C&R)
