Charles Hutson, known as Buck to family and friends, was born in the heart of the Atlantic Flyway on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and resides in Bozman, MD. Buck’s family has been in the area over 200 years and have had varied backgrounds of working as watermen, farmers, store-keepers, blacksmiths and sea captains. For 27 years, Buck had his own carpentry business and was an avid waterfowler and waterman. He has since retired from carpentry and combined his knowledge of woodworking with his love for waterfowling and is now an acclaimed, award winning bird carver. Buck has handpicked and signed this Loon carving for our Chapter to be auctioned off. This is not only a fantastic representation of the species but a wonderful piece of art that will enhance the beauty of the lucky winners home! Be the last person bidding to take home this hand-carved and hand-painted Loon!
