SN: 6654 Engraved over/under boxlock double rifle chambered in 7.8x57Rmm, built in the Free City of Danzig circa 1920's-1930's. Configuration: French greyed scalloped receiver with black leaf & game scene engraving to include red deer on the left side & roe deer on the right, blued 24 3/8" barrels with double Kersten locks & raised solid sighting rib, raised blade front sight with bead top, dovetailed rear sight, claw mounted Hensoldt Dural-Dialytan 4x scope with target dot reticle & see-through rings, selective automatic ejectors, double triggers with single set trigger in front, sliding tang safety, brass cocked indicators, brown leather sling, three-piece extra fancy walnut forend with multi-point checkering & Deeley release on the bottom piece, and pistol grip shoulder stock with round grip knob, inlayed black diamond drop points, beaded right handed cheekpiece, checkered horn buttplate & 14" LOP. Rifle retains approximately 95%+ of it's original finish showing some thinned bluing & a small amount of scattered minor pin prick pitting on the barrels. Action is sound, the bores are excellent, markings are crisp, optics are slightly hazy and the glossy finished wood stocks are very good+ with some minor blemishes.
