Browning A5 Semi Auto Shotgun 12 ga Made in Belguim
This is a nice Browning A5 Made in Belgium. From what I can tell from the
serial number at 438872 it was made in 1926.
Operates as it should from what we can see.
Barrel condition on outside is very good - Very shootable bore as is.
Barrel measures 25 inches long and has original front sight.
There are a few blemish spots on receiver sides and sharp edges.
The butt stock and for stock have both been refinished to a matt oil finish.
NO cracks anywhere - Has the original FN Butt Plate.
All screws with lock screws are in pleace but have been used..
John Browning designed the Auto-5 in the late 1890s, and after facing rejections
from American manufacturers, he patented it in 1900.
The shotgun was initially produced by the Belgian firm Fabrique Nationale (FN) and
later under license by Remington and Savage in the United States.
Its distinctive features include the long-recoil action, a humpback-shaped receiver
and a five capacity magazine.
The Auto-5 was available in various gauges, with the 12-gauge and 20-gauge
being the most popular. It was offered in different barrel lengths and finishes,
catering to a wide range of users from hunters to sports shooters.
The shotgun's reliability and durability made it a favorite among enthusiasts.

When shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. We ship mainly at cost via Canada Post. We aim to have items out the door within 15 business days after auction close.
Please note that due to restrictions we will ship all Ammunition by courier Canada wide - No ammo can be shipped outside of Canada.. We will use whatever coourier serves your location ....
We are NOT responsible for damage during shipping. We don't guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.
Items over $200 will be insured and a signature 18+ is required (unless under $200 or going by letter mail).
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON LOTS THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP TO YOU.

A $40.00 late payer fee will be added to any invoice that can't be processed at the conclusion of the sale. Please ensure that you have provided us with the correct number and expiry date. Recurring problem payers will be banned from future sales. Bidders are responsible for full payment of all their purchases at the drop of the hammer. Our Consignors are paid based on the hammer price. We will attempt to charge your credit card partial amounts until the amount is paid in full. Any purchase which has not been fully paid will be resold at the next available opportunity. Our normal commission charge (14%) will apply on re-sale. Any balance remaining unpaid after the resale will be referred to our collection agency, and or small claims court.

No employee of KOS Auctions is authorized to make any representation or warranty, oral or written, with respect to any lot or item for sale other than the CEO.
KOS Auctions will not return or refund money if an item is not exactly in the same condition as listed in the online listing. All ratings in the online listing are subjective and are of visual opinion, no mechanical inspection is undertaken by KOS unless stated. Any concern on a listing must be addressed via email before the closing of the auction.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver will be sold at the next opportunity, regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
We require your full correct name and a mailing address for your items won. Customers who fail to do so, or who need the paperwork restarted due to an error on their part will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00 per lot. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. If we sell firearms that have been previously de-activated by others, these may not meet current or exportable standards. Firearms de-activated by other may or may not have a “de-activation letter” available. We are not able to search for letters for firearms de-activated by others.
