Make in Japan by Miroku, grade 1 over and under box-lock shotgun chambered for 2 3/4" 28 Gauge shells, manufactured circa 1979. This shotgun was the property of competition shooter Scott Riles, see item 137763 for more detail. Imported by Browning Arms Company out of Morgan, UT. and Montreal P.Q. Featuring a gloss blued finish, 28" ventilated ribbed barrels, bores measures Full over IM, Brass bead front sight, selective ejectors, single curved smooth gold-toned inertia trigger, checkered top lever, and serrated sliding tang safety and barrel selector. The high gloss figured walnut furniture consists of a shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered forend with Deeley latch release, long lower tang, 14" length-of-pull, 1-5/8" drop at comb, 2-3/16" drop at heel, and a black plastic factory buttplate. The receiver displays limited coverage floral scrolls, and edge designs. Receiver, forend, and barrels all have matching serial numbers. The original blued finish remaining is approximately 99%. Bores look excellent, action is smooth and crisp, wood is excellent.
