Jim Breck Bean of High West Outfitters has donated a West Texas free-range bull Bison hunt. These bulls are recognized by SCI, Grand Slam Club-Orvis and many other hunting organizations as “wild bison”.
This will be a 2-day, 1-night, 1-on-1 hunt at the Cibolo Creek Ranch near Marfa, Texas, for one (1) hunter. Price includes nice accommodations during the hunt, as well as skinning and quartering. Hunt will be spot-and-stalk on approximately 45,000 acres. Hunter can use rifle or bow. A $50 Texas hunting license must be purchased by hunter. HWO is an outfitting leader, with over 1.2 million acres of private land leases across Texas with many clients in the record books. Its team of experienced and knowledgeable guides promise an enjoyable and exciting hunt.
Hunt can be upgraded to include a non-hunter as well as exotics, and HWO also offers desert bighorn, mule deer, aoudad, antelope and Texas elk. Chapter Board member, Dan Olson, successfully hunted aoudad with HWO a few years ago and is returning this year to hunt bison. Hunt must be taken in 2020.
