CAPE TO CAIRO 5-Day Hunt for Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest or Burchell Zebra for 2-Hunters in North West Province of South Africa. Cape to Cairo has donated the day fees for 5 days for 2 hunters, and trophy fees for one of the following species for each hunter: Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, or Burchell Zebra for each hunter. On top of the donated trophy fees, Cape to Cairo is donating an additional $1,000 trophy fee credit for up to 2 Cape Buffalo and $2000 trophy fee credit for up to 2 Sable harvested on the trip. Clients are encouraged to bring their families and friends. The lodge with 9 in-suite rooms is nothing less than fabulous. The lodge boasts itself with outstanding accommodation and service, a gym, a spa and much more. It has been rated 5 stars by the South African Tourism Board and is perfect for large groups and especially family trips. The hunting opportunities are fantastic, even for the hunter who believes he has done it all. It includes opportunities to harvest a Wildebeest Slam (Kings, Gold, Blue and Black), Gemsbuck Slam (Red, Gold and Common), Springbuck Slam (Black, White, Copper and Kalahari), as well as magnificent Sable, Cape Buffalo and other exotics such as Nyala and Sessebe. Return airport transfers from Johannesburg JNB are included. Also included are all meals, accommodation, laundry service, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in moderation. Not included: Additional days at $400 per day per hunter and $200/observer, $50 pp license fees; $70 per person per day conservation fee and, any additional trophies taken at our standard prices. Our mission: Preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage.
Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists.
How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $3.7 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts.

Houston Safari Club (HSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to legislative and policy initiatives that may affect the future of hunting. HSC supports initiatives that protect the tradition of hunting and hunters’ rights. We take an active role in efforts to effect policy, protocols and legislation. HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad.
Live Auction Rules
§ When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters.
§ The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
§ Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
§ Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
§ Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2019 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire January 31, 2020. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
§ Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
§ It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
