Cooper, wife of T.J. Cooper. Most gunsmiths made guns to order, but Joseph Long is known to have made vast amounts of rifles which he often used as trade for goods and services. This practice resulted in a great many of his guns surviving. CONDITION: fine original condition throughout. Mechanically fine w/ crisp rifled bore. PROVENANCE: Collection of Dr. John Persing. (01-19526/RG). ANTIQUE. $6,000-12,000.
