Here is your opportunity to take the billfishing trip of a lifetime in Guatemala. This is a 3-day fishing/4-night guided sailfish, marlin (blue, black and striped) and pelagic gamefish dolphin, yellowfin tuna and wahoo fishing adventure donated by Casa Vieja Lodge for two anglers. Schedule this trip with outfitter for open dates April to November 2019, only. Few locations have had the number of "Top Billfishing Destination" headlines in the sportfishing community as Guatemala's Pacific Coast. In the past, releasing 1,000 billfish a year would be regarded as "elite class" by the charter sportfishing world. In 2017, Casa Vieja's fleet had 22,351 billfish raises, and anglers released a total of 10,464 billfish during their 8-month season. Your fishing adventure will start aboard the Spindrift, a 38-foot Stolper that has been updated with the latest electronics and safety equipment. While at the lodge you will enjoy its manicured gardens, soothing swimming pool, gourmet meals and full bar for exotic libations, far exceeding the expectations of any angler. Fishing hours are 7am-5pm, and you return at days end to Casa Vieja Lodge. Included are accommodations, meals, domestic alcoholic beverages, guide service, use of fishing gear and VIP airport transfers. Additional guests are welcomed at $1,450 for the stay. Our mission: Preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage.
Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists.
How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $3.7 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts.

Houston Safari Club (HSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to legislative and policy initiatives that may affect the future of hunting. HSC supports initiatives that protect the tradition of hunting and hunters’ rights. We take an active role in efforts to effect policy, protocols and legislation. HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad.
Live Auction Rules
§ When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters.
§ The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
§ Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
§ Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
§ Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2019 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire January 31, 2020. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
§ Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
§ It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
