AUTO PISTOLS. BOTH: cal: 45 ACP. Bbls. 5" with "P" and "Z" in front of legs. Mfg. 1916 with checkered slide stops and thumb safeties; all with milled undercuts. Slides with 1902 and 1913 patent dates on left sides plus rampant Colts behind left cocking grooves. Semi-circular front sights and corresponding U notched rears. Left front of trigger guards have "VP" proofs. Flat mainspring housings with lanyard loops. Spring guides have blunt legs. Checkered walnut grips with 15 rows between double diamonds; grip screws with various degrees of finish loss. Bottoms of magwells with "BV LYNDEN WA" import marks. MAGS: 4 very good to near excellent two tone 7 rd. mags. with lanyard loops. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: case of brown canvas with plated hardware to include plaque on lid. Green felt lined w/ French fitted provision for 2 pistols and 2 spare mags. Center of interior bottom has black trapezoidal shaped cartridge block for 18 rds. Leather case securing straps and handle. Good condition with noticeable wear to leather along with light rub marks and some metal patina. No damage and includes key for lock.
1) S# C61594. Left rear trigger guard marked "R" plus "P" and "H" by disconnector. CONDITION: good to very good overall original appearance having some spotty finish loss on slide along with general high point wear. Moderate hand wear in grip area. Spot of light to moderate pitting on right side of slide near muzzle. Typical light takedown scratch. Good plus grips with minimal wear, small chip on bottom left diamond; worn grip screws. Near excellent bore. (22-5473).
2) S# C62551. Left rear trigger guard marked "Y" plus "2", "S" and "S" by disconnector. CONDITION: very good to excellent overall original appearance showing only slight high point wear; mostly left side at muzzle. Spot of light finish loss on left edge of front strap at midpoint. Faint takedown scratch. Very good to excellent grips. Near excellent bore and minimal functioning wear on exterior. (22-5476). BOTH CURIO. $7,000-12,000.
