WITH TOOLED FORM FITTED HOLSTER. Cal. 32 Rimfire. S# 13158. Bbl. 6". This 32 cal. rimfire revolver was popular among Civil War officers. This survivor saw honest use w/ well made military style flap holster. CONDITION: very good overall, pistol retains traces of blue in protected areas. Easily discerned makers mark on bbl. & patent information on cyl. Hammer retains muted case colors & rosewood grips retain traces of original factory varnish. Top hinge is stressed & bbl. points strongly toward the right, latch does not catch. Holster is still supple w/ soiled inner Moroccan lining. Exterior of holster has good brown color w/ tooled patterns. Belt loop torn & resewn at base. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of James B. Taylor. (01-21351/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,000-1,500.
