This may be the hunt of a lifetime. Ron Warren from Alaska Guide Service has donated a 10-day hunt for 1 hunter for an Alaska Coastal Brown Bear. Hunt is for October 2019 or 2020. Check with outfitter for available dates. You will be hunting on salmon streams that are flowing into the Gulf of Alaska. Method of take is rifle (prefer 338 or bigger) or bow. Arrival/Departure point is Yakutat, Alaska which has twice a day 737 service to Yakutat. Accommodations will be a nice hunting cabin and includes meals, field prep for your trophy and delivery to shipper. You pay for the shipping. State brown bear tag ($1000) and hunting license ($130) are not included. Additional hunters can be added for $17,000 if space is available. Hunters will not be required to leave after successful harvest, but may stay & fish Silver Salmon. The owner has over 30 years of experience in the area. Emil Anderson, Bruce Hoyer and Terry Ehrhardt have hunted with Ron. Waylon’s Wildlife Taxidermy has donated $400 towards a life-size mount.
