COLLECTOR'S LOT OF 3 NICE LC SMITH TRAP GRADE GUNS

IN 12, 16, 20 GAUGE.
1) Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# FW13567. Bbls. 30". Made with matted concave tapered top rib w/ 2 white beads, grade marking & maker name on tops of bbls. Bbl. flats w/ SN & "T" noting Trap grade. Point pattern checkered splinter forearm w/ triangular ebony tip has rare early Curtis type push button release. Case hardened action is nicely engraved w/ standard Trap Grade pattern w/ light flourishes of scroll & Trap scenes on side locks. Gun made w/ dbl. triggers, extractors, & 3 position auto safety. The blued trigger guard w/ scroll flourish on bow & SN at tang. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist is of nicely figured flame grained American walnut & terminates w/ an ill fitting replacement Silver's type pad. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 3". LOP: 15", 14" to end of wood. Right: Bore diameter: .729. Restriction: .042" (Full). Minimum wall thickness: .035". Left: Bore diameter: .279". Restriction: .040" (Full). Minimum wall thickness: .035". Weight: 7 lbs., 14 oz. CONDITION: extremely fine & collector quality. Bbls. retain nearly all of their original rust blued finish. Beads are contemporary replacements. Side locks & receiver retain virtually all of their bold original case color & breech face appears unmared indicating this gun likely test fired only. Forend is excellent, checkering is crisp. Buttstock is sound, checkering is excellent & retains most of its factory original finish w/ some light finish added towards butt for preservation & subsequent light handling marks are found. Triggers retain most of their factory original blue. Bores are brilliant & shiny. Mechanics are crisp. Point pattern checkered splinter forearm w/ engraved & blued Banjo type roller release. Case hardened action is nicely engraved w/ standard Trap Grade pattern w/ light flourishes of scroll & Trap scenes on side locks. Gun made w/ single selective Hunter One trigger, ejectors. The blued trigger guard w/ scroll flourish on bow. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist is of nicely figured flame grained American walnut & terminates w/ a thin modern Pachmayr pad. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 3/4". LOP: 14 1/4", front rear position Hunter One trigger. Right: Bore diameter: .651". Restriction: .019 (Mod.). Minimum wall thickness: .033". Left: Bore diameter: .652". Restriction: .020" (Mod.). Minimum wall thickness: .033". Weight: 7 lbs., 1 oz. CONDITION: very good as partially refurbished. Bbls., forend iron & trigger guard retain most of a refurbished blacking. Bbls. w/ a few areas of pinprick pitting on exterior w/ bluing over them particularly ahead of forearm on bottom of tubes. Forearm w/ grain separation from iron to banjo release has been professionally repaired w/ restored finish throughout. Receiver w/ about 1/3 of its original case color. Balance toned to silver. Buttstock w/ grain separation emanating from bottom of left lock to trigger guard tang; otherwise appears sound & retains most of an older restored finish w/ subsequent scratches & handling marks throughout. Bores are bright & shiny. Trigger works, ejectors are in time. Gun is on face. Mechanics overall area fine. (22-1064/JSL).

Case hardened action is nicely engraved w/ standard Trap Grade pattern w/ light flourishes of scroll & Trap scenes on side locks. Gun made w/ dbl. triggers, auto ejectors, & 3 position auto safety. The blued trigger guard w/ scroll flourish on bow & SN at tang. Capped pistol grip buttstock checkered in point pattern through the wrist is of nicely figured flame grained American walnut & terminates w/ a thin replacement lined hard rubber buttplate. DAC: 1 5/8". DAH: 2 7/8". LOP: 14 5/8". Right: Bore diameter: .613". Restriction: .030" (Full). Minimum wall thickness: 030". Left: Bore diameter: 612". Restriction: .027" (Full). Minimum wall thickness: 030". Weight: 6 lbs., 11 oz. CONDITION: very good. Bbls. retain more than 80% what appears their original blue w/ some finish added at carry point near breech. Forearm retains most of an older restored finish, checkering recut. Action retains 20 to 30% light original case color. Trigger guard retains about half of its original blue w/ some finish added towards tang. Buttstock retains most of an older professionally restored finish w/ checkering chased & is mostly sound w/ a minor loss towards left side of trigger guard tang. Buttplate & grip cap are modern replacements. Bores w/ some minor pitting toward muzzle, but are mostly bright & shiny. Mechanics are fine. Gun is tight & on face. Barrels show scratches from removal of forend which is VERY! tight. All cases are very good w/ minor rub marks.
