Cal. 45 ACP. S# C114821. Bbl. all blue 5" High Standard WWII marked w/ "HS" on right leg plus "P" on left leg. Per Harrison's referencing, Type 18 used mid 1943 to end of war. Mfg. 1919 w/ all correct features including dbl. diamond grips w/ 15 rows of checkering between diamonds. Correct slide markings w/ rampant Colt at midpoint of legend on left side. Left side of trigger guard w/ "VP" proof & right side w/ "C" assembly mark. MAGS: very good two tone 7 rd. w/ lanyard loop on base. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: later production 2 piece wood grain box numbered 702-C w/ instruction sheet marked "Form A-1661" plus complete warranty card containing zip code. CONDITION: generally very good appearing finish w/ high point holster wear along w/ grip area wear. Top of slide forward of port w/ long longitudinal scratches. Light marks & extra wear at midpoint of front strap. Typical scratch on frame from improper slide stop installation. Noticeable external wear on bbl. having near excellent bore. Replacement bbl. bushing w/ military finish on face & rough worn portion on inside slide section. Replacement extractor w/ noticeably less use than commensurate w/ pistol. Feed ramp w/ brown tone & minimal signs of use. Firing pin retainer w/ noticeable wear on firing pin side. Mag. release by fit, finish & wear appears replacement. 3 Grip screws w/ normal top wear; one appears much better replacement. Grips have like new appearance superior to overall finish & may be replacements yet w/ proper fitment by mainspring housing pin. Each end of "GOVERNMENT MODEL" marking somewhat thin. (21-3971/NW).
