Cal. .180 BB. NSN. Brass barrel with nickel finished iron shroud. Cast iron action with deeply embossed animal figures. Right side of forearm features figures that appear to bobcat, wolf, antelope and rabbit. Left side features a dog, fox and squirrel. Action above Winchester style lever features a bull elk and oak leaves on right side with screaming eagles on left. Left side of frame behind trigger shows model date "1900". Walnut stock with nickel finished crescent steel buttplate. Blue Book of Air Gun Values 12th Edition by Dr. Robert D. Beeman and John B. Allen discuss the rarity of this model on page 246 by stating "perhaps over 200 known". CONDITION: barrel shroud retains small amounts of nickel finish in protected areas. Cast iron action has original painted finish in recessed areas only. Lever and buttplate retain traces of nickel finish. Sanded stock has a gloss refinish with spots of filler and repaired chip at toe. Functioning action retains good compression. (02-17673/DS). $600-900.
