Larry & Stephanie Altimus are both long-time documented sheep hunters. They also are highly successful outfitters, but this donation is from another highly successful enterprise, their Hunter Application Service (HAS). They have made quite a name for themselves, as they allow their clients to use HAS money to apply for 14 sheep applications in every Western state that offers non-resident sheep tags. Yes, for the high bidder HAS will apply for 14 sheep applications and provide more than $15,000 for the tag fees. HAS will also purchase all required state hunting licenses (over $975 in value). If the high bidder has previously applied and has bonus points, these applications will simply add to that bonus point total. If the high bidder is drawn, he or she will be responsible only for that given sheep tag fee (or fees, if you are lucky enough to draw more than one tag). This sounds almost too good to be true, but it is true. I think with this explanation it becomes obvious why HAS has been so successful over the years.
