MK II TARGET SEMI-AUTO TARGET PISTOLS. BOTH: Cal. 22 LR. S# 19-79744, S# 19-79745. Bbls. 6 7/8" target with under cut square faced front sights and receiver mounted adjustable rears. "U.S." stamped above serial numbers. Mfg. 1984 (1982-2004) as MK-678 with blued finishes and checkered black plastic grips having single silver eagle medallion per pistol. Not marked "GOVERNMENT" yet have "G" on end of shipping sleeve that has new label listing Model as 00143. Consignor states prototype and believed to have been purchased as such through a Ruger benefit auction. Normal U.S. marked contract pistols started at S# 21000051 in July of 1984 per RENE Reference Guide. Extremely scarce pair of Rugers. MAGS: 2 TOTAL: 1 factory 10 rd. per pistol. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: yellow / black 1 piece box with packaging per pistol plus cardboard shipping sleeve as described with S# inked on label end. CONDITION: all aspects of both are near excellent appearing new and unfired. (23-6655, 23-6656/NW). BOTH MODERN. $1,500-2,250.
