Mfg. 1977 (1970-1988 for entire DA series) with blued finishes and catalogue designations of SDA84L. Extremely rare to be in the civilian market and more so to have a consecutive pair. Sold Feb. 2011 through a Ruger benefit auction (redacted invoice included). Right side of barrels marked ".38 SPECIAL CAL."; left sides with "CONN." addresses. Butts have blank areas (space between "153-" and last 5 digits) that is available for lanyard loops. High back back straps, checkered walnut service stocks with small all silver medallions plus blued hammers and grooved triggers. Per RENE Reference Guide, only 1 US example known in civilian possession. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original boxes for each plus packaging to include military manuals, invoice (to FFL in CO) and shipping sleeves; also includes military foil wraps.
