SABLE CUSTOM KNIVES uses various types of Stainless Steel & Carbon Steel for knife blades like the 440C Stainless Steel used to create this specially created for the Kentuckiana Chapter of SCI, KYSCI 2020, knife blade. 440C Stainless Steel is highly resistant to corrosion with only minimum care needed to protect the blade from rust. 440C Stainless Steel is proven to be very tough. It has high wear resistance which is important if the knife is used in an outdoor environment.
The KYSCI 2020 Micarta SABLE CUSTOM KNIVES handle is not only handsome, it is strong and durable. Micarta has become a favorite material for use in heavy-duty survival knives. It tolerates extreme heat and cold, resists moisture, is resistant to most solvents and grease, and doesn’t become brittle with age. Most Micarta-handled knives will outlast their owners.
This KYSCI 2020 knife comes with a custom made genuine top-quality cow hide leather sheath which fits on the knife perfectly. SABLE CUSTOM KNIVES come with limited lifetime warranty, if anything goes wrong, they will fix it for you or replace it. (Deliberate damage to the knife is not covered in the warranty.)
