CZ Model VZ24 Bolt Action Rifle in 243 Win - Made in Czechoslovakia.

The vz. 24 rifle is a bolt-action carbine designed and produced in Czechoslovakia
from 1924 to 1942. It was developed from the German Mauser Gewehr 98 line, and
features a similar bolt design. The rifle was designed in Czechoslovakia shortly after
World War I, to replace the Vz. 98/22, also a Czech derivative of the Gewehr 98.

This particular rifle has been chambered in a Parker Hale barrel in 243 Win and is in
excellant shape.

Barrel is 23 inches long and is stamped PARKER-HALE LTD. BIRMIINGHAM ENGLAND 243 W - This is OBVIOUSLY
re-barreled. The Action for this gun, the VZ24 was originally issued in 8 mm.
Nice solid action and has been drilled for scope mounts.
No Iron Sights are mounted.

Wood stock is very good with no flaws and has a nice comfortable butt pad.
Heel does not have finished cover peice on it.

Very nice engraved floor plate and trigger guard...
